Grilled Orange Chicken
Summertime means grilling time, especially here in the Midwestern part of the U.S. This grilled orange chicken is juicy and full of flavor! It's perfect served on top of a salad for a light dinner.
- 1-2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 3 Tablespoons orange juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Combine all marinade ingredients into a large zip-top bag.
Add chicken and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours, up to 6 hours (any longer and the outside of the chicken may start to chemically cook from the acid in the orange juice).
Grill until fully cooked; 165 °F internal temperature per the USDA.
